1. Choose your favorite pillow you want to heat and unzip it. Place the Opoggi® Heatpad inside the pillow between the pillow cover and the inner stuffing. Make sure the side with the white heating wire is on the outside, as this side gets the warmest.
   
2. Make sure the HeatPad is not folded in half.
   
3. If you are not using an Opoggi® battery, check if the battery is compatible (you can check this under “What battery is compatible with an Opoggi heat product?”). If the powerbank does not meet these minimum requirements, the heating element will not generate the optimal heat.
   
4. Take the USB-A connector attached to the heating element and connect it to your powerbank.
   
5. Place the power bank in the cushion or place the power bank next to the cushion.
   
6. Close the zipper and enjoy the heat.
   
7. If you want to turn off the HeatPad, disconnect the battery from the HeatPad or turn off the battery.

The charging time of your battery depends on the specifications of the charger. The Opoggi batteries are designed to allow fast charging but for that your charger must provide an output of 9V - 3A.

If your Opoggi® HeatPad is not heating properly, try one of the following tips:  

1. Start by assessing whether your Opoggi® heating element is reaching the desired temperature. The default temperature for your Opoggi® heating element is about 50°C. Wait five minutes for your Opoggi® HeatPad to warm up properly, then place your hand on the heating element for 30 seconds. If you do not feel any heat, continue with the next steps.
   
2. The heat generated depends on the output of your power bank. Make sure the output is 5V, 3A. If you want absolute assurance of powerbank compatibility, choose an Opoggi® battery. This is the perfect match for all our products.
   
3. Make sure your battery is connected properly. Check if USB connector of the heater is properly plugged into the powerbank.Check if your battery is fully charged. With the Opoggi® battery, you can see the battery percentage. If the percentage is low, fully charge the battery.
